KARACHI: The authorities have declared security high alert in the vicinity of Sindh Secretariat, in Karachi due to security concerns, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The law enforcement agencies conducting strict checking of the vehicles entering in Sindh Secretariat building; even the vehicles carrying government number plates not being left without thorough checking.
Any bags, arms and other prohibited articles and unconcerned people not being allowed entry in the government building.
The employees being permitted entry after thorough checking. Moreover, a record of the government vehicles entering in the building is being maintained.
The authorities have ordered a special sticker of the Secretariat for the vehicles carrying government number plates.
The security at Sindh Secretariat has been stepped up with hurdles to avoid security risks. The vehicles and pedestrians passing by the building also being monitored to a avoid security risks.
Sindh Secretariat in Karachi, has been the administrative centre of Pakistan's southern Sindh province.
