American actress and singer Selena Gomez has experienced a lot in mere 26 years of life. Been on 5 world tours with her five albums. A constant face in the advertisement world and carrying uncountable brand deals there is no stopping this talented young artist.
But for all the highs she has also gone through terrible down as well. diagnosed with Lupus five years ago she had been constantly suffering from health issues which sometimes changed her voice to her body type but the Revival singer took it all in full swing and stride until she had no other option to stop.
On September 14, 2017, Selena announced via Instagram that she had withdrawn from public events during the previous few months because she had received a kidney transplant from actress and friend Francia Raisa.
During the transplant, she broke an artery. An emergency surgery was conducted to build a new artery using a vein from her leg.
Following the transplant, Selena has gone through some serious transformation which makes the singer hard to be recognized on streets.
Gone are the luscious locks and the bling attire. The Fetish singer has shed her glamorous avatar for a more simpler look both with her hair and attire.
Last year in an interview with Billboard magazine Selena said these things don’t matter to her;
“I want to live a life that’s worth living, to choose exactly who and what best fits into my life, no matter how it looks from the outside.”
