NAUSHERO FEROZ: A cleric at a religious seminary chained up a student as punishment when the latter sought leave after taking his lessons, ARY News live Monday.
A 8-year-old Waqar Ali was a student of seminary of Gul Mosque. The cleric chained him up when Ali asked for a leave after taking his class. However, the student managed to break his chain and fled away.
Residents took the boy to a press club in Naushero Feroz where he narrated the entire ordeal to journalists. On the other hand, when mediamen approached the accused cleric, he refused to give his comments on the issue and provided them a key to unlock the chain.
