Senate Body bars govt employees seeking jobs in int’l NGOs
ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee for Cabinet Division has approved the bill to prohibit government employees to seek employment in international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on Wednesday, ARY News reports from Islamabad.
The meeting of the Senate standing committee for Cabinet Division was chaired by Senator Kulsum Parveen. The bill seeking prohibition of government employees to work in international NGOs was presented in the meeting by Sughra Imam.
The committee was instructed to follow the notification of permanently hiring 200 employees of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and recommended that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should end the ban on seeking employment in health and education sector.
