ISLAMABAD: The Opposition in the Senate ended its protest against the inappropriate attitude of Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, in the form of an open-air session – ARY News reports.
Upon the instructions of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Pervez Rasheed, Federal Minister for Information, reconciled the opposition members.It was the first time that two seperate sessions of the Senate were held. The Senate session of opposition parties continued for three days.
The opposition members had boycotted the session inside the House due to the behavior of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and the policies of the Federal Government.
Meanwhile, PPP Senator, Moula Baksh Chandio expressed his displeasure that Chaudhry Nisar did not come to the reconcile them.
Earlier, the in-House session of the Senate was delayed by half an hour due to incomplete quorum.
