ISLAMABAD: The upper house of parliament on Friday passed a unanimous resolution paying glowing tribute to the courage of SSP CID Police Chaudhry Aslam who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Karachi on Thursday.
The Senate resolution condemned the attack on Chaudhry Aslam and expressed sympathies with his family.
The House also lauded the courage of Aitzaz Hassan, the school boy who sacrificed his life while intercepting a suicide bomber in order to save his school in Hangu.
The house offered fateha for Aitzaz Hassan‚ SSP CID Chaudhary Aslam‚ political workers and civilians martyred in recent days in Karachi.
Earlier‚ Awami National Party (ANP) members staged walk out from the house on deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and killing of its party workers.
