'Eight PML-N MPAs shifted loyalty in secret ballot'

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader, Mushahidullah Khan has admitted that eight of his party MPAs from Punjab voted for rival candidate in the Senate elections on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Talking to media, Mushahidullah Khan said that PMLN swept the Senate elections from Punjab by securing all of the 11 seats.

However, he admitted that eight of his party MPAs from Punjab voted in favor of rival candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Nadeem Afzal Chan.


Eight PML-N votes deviated from party

Khan said the PPP candidate could only secure 20 votes, on behalf of the PPP and PMLQ coalition in Punjab for the polls, yet there were 28 votes polled in his favor.
