According to details, four suspects who are currently under the custody of law enforcement agencies have revealed that they had planned to target SSP Rao Anwar, SSP Farooq Awan, SSP Raja Umar Khattab and SSP Mazhar Mishwani.
Meanwhile, police arrested two suspected target killers from affiliated with a political party from Federal B Area, Karachi.
The suspects, Kamran alias Kami and Atif, reportedly confessed killing 21 people in different areas of metropolis.
In another raid in Federal B Area, police nabbed four suspects, seizing snatched vehicles and weapons from them.
Rangers in targeted raids on Tuesday also rounded up seven suspects.
On Tuesday, rescue members recovered dead body of a woman was Karachi’s PIB neighborhood. The deceased was said to be the sister of a martyred intelligence officer.
Another burned body was also recovered from Orangi Town.
