KARACHI: Seven members of a family, including five children, were injured when a fire erupted at a house in Korangi area, ARY News reports on Sunday.
According to resue sources, seven members of a family were severely burnt when a fire broke our a house at Korangi area. They were shifted to the Burns Ward of Civil Hospital for treatment.
Three of the injured persons are in crtitical condition, the doctors stated.
The injured couple were identified as Haroon and Shagufta whereas their five children were identified as Hassan, Mahnoor, Dua, Hamza and Fatima.
Police has stated that the family had burnt the chimney to avoid cold. Soon the flames engulfed the objects of the house.
