Four children among seven killed in Bajaur landslide
BAJAUR AGENCY: At least seven people, four children among them, were killed while two others were wounded by a landslide in Bajaur Agency on Friday, ARY News reported.
Rescue sources said that the landslip in the agency’s Usman Khel area killed seven people and injured two others.
After being informed about the incident, rescue teams immediately arrived at the site and pulled out seven dead bodies buried under the mass of earth and boulders.
Officials of the local political administration said four children and a woman were among those killed in the incident.
They said the deceased were gathering mud for a house from the spot when a landslide buried them alive.
Earlier on Sept 27, a landslide in a mountainous region of Sargodha had killed at least six labourers and wounded two others.
