According to Levies sources, terrorists attacked Cheechlo Checkpost at Meekhtar area of Loralai in which seven personnel were killed while several terrorists were injured in the cross fire.
The saboteurs then attacked the contingents that were called by the para-military force for help. The terrorists managed to escape in wounded state after the retaliatory fire by the security forces.
Frontier Corps launched a search operation for the arrest of the attackers due to which Dera Ghazi Khan Road was closed. Helicopters and sniffer dogs also took part in the search.
