LAHORE: Number of children scorched on Sunday when gas-filled balloons exploded at Kamahan road children Park in Lahore, ARY News reported.
An inauguration ceremony of the Walton flyover was held in Lahore where gas-filled balloons were released in the air after Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the bridge.
The balloons – reportedly filled with a harmful chemical gas fall in Children Park at Kamahan, where children started catching them and they eventually exploded leaving at least 30 children injured.
The injured children have been shifted to General and Jinnah Hospital Lahore.
Taking the notice of the incident Shahbaz Sharif has ordered to launch investigation of the happening. He also directed to provide best available treatment facilities to the injured children.
