Several posts vacant in 5 provincial departments, tells CM Pervez Khattak

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pervez Khattak has told that various posts in 5 different provincial ministries have been vacant and resolving this matter is a bit difficult – ARY News reports.

Talking to media at Police Line Peshawar, the Chief Minister told that the performance of police was not that good seven months ago, yet it is quite satisfactory today. He stated that if the officials in command govern the police rightly, then its merits will also reach out to the people of the province.

Returning to a question, Khattak said that no hustle bustle in different provincial portfolios, several posts are vacant in 5 different departments and resolving the matter is a bit difficult.

He told that the KP Government is keeping a watch over the flooding situation at Kabul River, however the flood control department has not issued any warning so far.

Speaking about the establishment of a counter-terrorism body, Pervez Khattak said that the institution will coordinate with and help the intelligence agencies in tracking down terrorists.

He told that the Federation is also establishing such an institution, whilst our province needs it the most.
