After the first round, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi told media that the government will respond today while government committee member and PML-N stalwart Ahsan Iqbal said that dialogues are a positive indication as the country’s situation does not allow politics of confrontation while vowing to come up with a solution which is acceptable for all.

Another government committee member and Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar  maintained that the talks were held in a pleasant manner.

It must be noted that the ruling PML-N formed a dialogue committee to hold talks with the protesting PTI which included Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Lieutenant General (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
