LAHORE: Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has said that the families with extremely low income will be provided direct subsidy through the Punjab Khidmat Card – ARY News reports.
According to details, Shahbaz Sharif chaired a meeting here on Friday, to review the advancements in the Punjab Khidmat Card Program. CM Shahbaz told that the extremely low-income families of the province will be provided direct subsidy by the Government of Punjab through this card.
It was told that the name and NIC number of a person seeking financial assistance, will be encrypted on the Khidmat Card.
The Chief Minister elaborated that the low-income families will gradually be provided health and education facilities too via this card.
Shahbaz Sharif directed concerned authorities to finalize the Punjab Khidmat Card Program at the earliest and to plan this on the lines of Education Endowment Fund.
