Shahbaz forms Joint Investigation Committee on threat issued to Bilawal

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has formed a Joint Investigation Committee on the issue of a threatening letter received by the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, sent by a banned outfit – ARY News reports.

According to details, Leader of the Opposition, Syed Khursheed Shah had written a letter to the CM Punjab, expressing his concerns over threats issued to his party Chairman.

Shahbaz Sharif replied to the letter earlier today, stating that a Joint Investigation Committee has been formed on the issue, which is in touch with the Government of Sindh and it will be informed about whatever advancement takes place in this regard.

Shahbaz further stated that Bilawal Bhutto can visit Punjab, whenever he wants and the Government of Punjab will make all the arrangements of his fool-proof security.
