Shahbaz meets delegations of Turk, Chinese energy companies

ISLAMABAD: A three member delegation of the Turkish company 'Seul Energy' has met the Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday, during the meeting a detailed discussion took place on energy production, alternative sources and specially the solar energy projects – ARY News reports.

On this occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has wide opportunities of energy production from hydel, thermal, solar and other alternative sources. He told that the companies investing in solar projects here are being provided all possible assistance.

The Turk delegation told that both the countries have cordial terms and economic cooperation, whilst Seul Energy Company is interested in solar projects in Punjab.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also met the representatives of a Chinese company and the meeting reviewed the possibilities of the construction hydel and other power projects in Pakistan.

CM Shahbaz Sharif told the Chinese delegates that the Government of Pakistan is taking all the necessary measures to cope with the energy crisis here and it is striving to utilize all the resources including coal and solar energy, for this purpose.
