Was Shahbaz forced to make speech in Lahore rally?

LAHORE: Shahbaz Sharif was on Saturday apparently forced to make speech during the rally held in his elder brother and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s support in Lahore, ARY News reported.

When the announcement started being made on the stage in his praise, Shahbaz was startled as if he was not ready or willing to make any speech on this occasion.

He abruptly waved his hand to stop the announcement, but Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique stepped forward and whispered in his ear, then the CM Punjab rose from his seat and moved towards dais.

The few words he spoke at this juncture were free of his traditional zealous style.

It could not be understood why he was reluctant to make speech in his brother’s favor when he needed it the most.
