GUJRANWALA: Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has visited Gujranwala to inspect Nandipur power project on Thursday, ARY News reported.
Speaking on the occasion Shahbaz Sahrif said that Nandipur power project will start producing 100MW (Mega Watt) electricity from May 2014.
He expressed satisfaction over the working on the project by saying that work on Nandipur power project is continuing at a fast pace to address the issue of load shedding.
The Chief Minister said that first turbine of the project was inaugurated by Chinese company in the month of November 2013 while the turbine of the project with a capacity to generate 100 megawatt of electricity will become functional by May this year.
Shahbaz Sharif said that inauguration of first turbine will be done by Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif.
