Shahid Afridi to be part of ‘Shaan-e-Ramazan’ on ARY Digitial

Former cricketer Shahid Afridi will be part of the Shaan-e-Ramazan on ARY Digitial in the holy month of Ramazan along with anchorpersons Waseem Badami and Iqrar-ul-Hassan.

Afridi will attempt to fill the void left by noted Islamic personality Junaid Jamshed who passed away in a tragic air crash last year.

The shooting for the promo for the popular show is currently underway, where Waseem Badami sent a heartfelt tribute to Junaid Jamshed and his untimely parting.

“The person who was the spotlight of the show is no longer among us,” he said calling the untimely departure as ordained by the Almighty. However, Badami said that the show must go on and Shan-e-Ramazan will return.

“The good deeds must continue as we seek blessings in the holy month of Ramazan” he said. “Therefore, another personality who has served the nation immensely will be among us.”

Iqrar, who will also be part of Shaan-e-Ramazan. made the announcement that Shahid Afridi will also be part of the show. Afridi will also continue his philanthropic activities at the Shahid Afridi Foundation.

Afridi was delighted to be part of the show and said the Shaan-e-Ramazan show on ARY Digital provides an ideal platform to help the underprivileged and deserving people of the nation.

In his message, Afridi called to understand the true meaning of the month on Ramazan, and spend it with love and affection. He also asked for support to make Shaan-e-Ramazan a success to achieve the objectives which they have set.
