The wait is over (for Shahid and Mira) as the most trending couple in India at the moment got married to each other in a private, low key ceremony in India last night. For all those who are curious as to the details and pictures from the wedding, we have plenty of both to satiate your appetite!
The couple became Mr and Mrs Kapoor officially at the farmhouse of industrialist Shivinder Singh in Delhi. The event was not a publicized one, which meant that only 30-40 of the actor’s and Mira’s close friends and family members were invited. “They wanted a very private ceremony. Only around 40 of their close friends and family were present,” a source close to the actor told an Indian news channel.

Shahid’s step-sister was extremely delighted with the choice her brother had made.
“My bhabhi is very nice, I hope sabko aisi bhabhi mile,” Sanah, Shahid’s step-sister said when she spoke to media personnel stationed outside the event.
The venue had been protected by barricades placed on roads outside of the farmhouse. Security personnel and armed bodyguards were also stationed outside the house. The couple got married around 12 30pm, after which they settled for lunch with their Guru from Radha Soami Satsang Beas and family members.
The couple are now preparing for a grand wedding reception to be held in Mumbai, which will host over 500 guests, prominent Bollywood celebrities included. Shahid’s relatives have already started arriving in Mumbai for the much wedding reception, which will be held on July 12.
