It seems like the award season has started in India and this time the first big award ceremony of 2015 Life OK Screen Awards was organized in Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were among the big winners as they got Best Actor male and female awards respectively.
Shahid Kapoor earned many accolades for his outstanding acting in ‘Haider’ where critiques were all praise for Priyanka’s women centric performance in ‘Mary Kom’ which got them the big awards. The most popular pair of 2014 Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone of Happy New Year won the Best Actor (male) and Best Actor (female) Award in the popular choice category.
Kagna Ranaut’s Queen ruled the glittery evening by bagging two big awards best film and the director Vikas Bahl was conferred ‘Best Director’ award.
Many big bollywood names including Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Malaika Arora, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Butt and others enthralled the star studded evening by their magnifying performance. Shah Rukh Khan made an aerial entry on stage amidst a huge round of applause to honor Hema Malini with Lifetime Achievement Award.
