Tim Cooks is a said to be a fan of Shahrukh Khan. He is currently on a one-week tour of India where he has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and visited software houses and inaugurated design centers in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Cook arrived in Mumbai last night and stayed at the iconic Taj Mahal hotel. The next day he had breakfast at Mehboob Studio where a session was moderated by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.
Later, Cook had lunch with India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani at his multi-billion dollar luxurious home Antilla where he was showered with gifts by the Ambani family. Both Ambani and Cook are working together to unveil 4G services in India.
There were strict measures taken to keep Cook and his entourage away from public eye but they were easily spotted wearing Apple Watches.
Among the guests at Shahrukh Khan’s home were Amitabh Bachan and his wife Jaya. There were joined by Aishwariya Rai who had arrived from the premier of Sarabjit.
Also present was Amir Khan, Madhuri Dixit and her husband Srinivasan Nene, and director Farah Khan who took a selfie with Cook. Oscar winning music composer A.R. Rahman, who is known for his work globally was also invited at the party. Tennis player Sania Mirza was also present.
The food arrangements were taken care of by celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani.
