It was a meeting of “epic proportions” as Bollywood’s reigning king Shahrukh Khan visited ailing legend Dilip Kumar and inquired about the legendary actor’s health.
Dilip Kumars’ wife Saira Banu in her message said:
“Sahab’s mooh-bola beta-“son” Shahrukh visited Sahab today. Sharing some photos of the evening.”
She added that the ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ actor is doing much better since return from the hospital. Shukar Allah.

It is pertinent to mention here that Dilip Kumar, 94, was undergoing a treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital and was discharged on August 9.

He was admitted on August 2 after suffering from dehydration and urinary tract infection.
Dilip Kumar is considered to be one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema. Starting his career in 1944, he has starred in some of the biggest commercially successful films in the period 1949-1961. . He was the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award and holds the record for most number of Filmfare Awards won for that category.
The actor was honoured in India with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and then Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
