Sharjeel hits ton as Pakistan 'A' register their second win against Kenya

Batting first, Pakistan accumulated 314-4 in allotted 45 overs. Sharjeel smashed 12 boundaries and nine sixes in his 120-ball 138-run knock. Skipper Sami Aslam, who scored an unbeaten century in the first match lost his wicket early after scoring only 19 runs.

Fawad Alam scored 52 runs while Babar Azam scored unbeaten 64. Fazal Subhan lost his wicket without scoring a single run. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan scored unbeaten 24. Kenyan bowler Lucas Oluoch captured two wickets.

With a huge total on board, Kenya crumbled under pressure lost all of their wickets after scoring 159 in 41.3 overs. Alex Obanda (36 runs) and Elijah Otieno (39 runs) put some resistance against the host.

Shahzaib Ahmed captured three wickets while all-rounder Fawad Alam and Mohammad Talha captured two wickets each.

Earlier, Pakistan ‘A’ had defeated Kenya by nine wickets. The two teams will again come face to face on December 16 at the same venue.
