KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Tuesday sought evidence from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding Rs 60 million alleged corruption in district Thatta’s accounts office, ARY News reported.

Chief Justice SHC expressed his resentment over absence of NAB’s investigator. He said people were mired in problems and the NAB couldn’t produce file of the case before the court.

The CJ said NAB should furnish evidence against the accused. NAB prosecutor Khalid Awan sought some time saying the case file was not ready.

“This would not have happened had you come prepared to the court,” the chief justice of the SHC said.
