KARACHI: A Sindh High Court bench adjourned hearing of Thar drought suo moto case till April 11, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
A division bench of SHC headed by Chief Justice Maqbool Baqar heard suo moto case about the drought conditions in Sindh's desert district of Tharparkar.
DIG Police Sanaullah Abbasi today submitted his fact finding report in the court.
Advocate General Sindh in his arguments objecting over the report said that DIG Sanaullah Abbasi has been a bureaucrat and the fact finding not comes to his domain.
Advocate General claimed that a political game being played under the veil of Thar drought. He called the report a conspiracy to destabilize the government of Sindh.
The Supreme Court has also taken suo moto notice of the Thar drought, the government counsel said, and pleaded to the bench for earlier settlement of the matter.
