SHC like verdicts to repeat on self-made constituency, says Faisal
KARACHI: Faisal Sabzwari, representative of Muttahia Qaumi Movement (MQM), has said that verdicts like the Sindh High Court (SHC) will be repeated if the constituencies are formed on consent, ARY News reports.
SHC had labeled the amendments in the Sindh Local Government Act as unconstitutional.
Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, he said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) should not label black over white on the basis of majority.
MQM official Syed Sardar Ahmad said that the Provincial Government should sought with the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP).
Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan said that the Provincial Government would be held responsible if the the Local Bodies (LB) Elections are postponed. He added that the doors of the courts are open if arbitrariness is shown.
