LONDON: President of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif will fly back from London to land in Pakistan in the wee hours of Friday (tomorrow) with the body of Kulsoom Nawaz.

Asma Nawaz, daughter of late former first lady, will accompany her mother’s dead body during their journey back to Lahore. Whereas, the sons of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz, will have the last sight of their mother in London as the duo will not be coming to Pakistan.

The first funeral prayers of the deceased will be offered in London’s Regent Park Islamic Center on Thursday (today) after which the family will take off to Pakistan with the body.

On Friday, the second funeral rites of former MNA Kulsoom Nawaz will be observed at the Sharif Medical City in Jati Umrah at 5:00 pm, as announced by the PML-N spokesperson.

Begum Kulsoom breathed her last at a hospital in London after protracted illness on September 11. The political career of the former first lady remains far from any controversy, unlike embroilment of her family members in different cases.
