Shia Ulema Council stages protests against Gracy Line attack
RAWALPINDI: All Pakistan Shia Ulema Council staged protest demonstrations against the suicide attack on an imambargah at Gracy Line and the target killing of Allama Nasir Abbas of Multan – ARY News reports.
According to details, the demonstrations were organized outside Liaquat Bagh and old imambargah. The protestors chanted slogans against terrorism in the state and demanded the Government to arrest the culprits involved.
They also demanded security for themselves and for their leaders.
On the other hand, stern security arrangements have been made by the Government on account of Chehlum.
Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) are conducting raids in search of miscreants, while a ban on pillion riding is also under consideration by the authorities.
