Shop owners hold park administration responsible for fire
KARACHI: A fire erupted at a shopping centre near Aladdin Park in the area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar in which goods worth of millions were gutted, ARY News reports on Sunday.
Fire Brigades reached the spot and extinguished the fire after hours of struggle. However, goods were millions were reduced to ashes by the fire and six shops were completely destroyed by the fire.
According to the fire officials, the fire erupted due to a short circuit however the shop owners hold the Park administration for the fire.
The shop owners said that they received a notice from the park administration earlier to empty the shops before 30th September but they burned their shops down when they refused.
The report of the incident has not been filed as of yet.
