Shujaat Hussain rejects reports about his contact with Shehbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Rejecting media reports about his contact with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain here on Sunday said, “Neither I contacted Shehbaz Sharif, nor is there any chance of it.”

 Talking to journalists, Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain said that he did not offer any deal to the Shehbaz Sharif. On the occasion, he advised Sharif brothers to refrain from hypocrisy.

Lauding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s measures against inflation and unemployment, Shujaat Hussain reiterated his support for the current government.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on March 12, had called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office in Islamabad.

Matters of mutual interest, overall political situation, Pakistan-India tension and other issues were came under discussion in the meeting.

In the wake of Pak-India tension, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had hailed the role and decisions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and assured the premier of  his party’s  full support.

Housing minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and PM’s special adviser on political affairs Naeemul Haq were also present in the meeting.
