PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) Chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has requested Imran Khan to come to the National Assembly (NA) of Pakistan and play the role of an effective and full-fledged opposition – ARY News reports.
According to details, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain visited PMLQ provincial president, Intikhab Khan Chamkani at his residence here on Tuesday and addressed party workers there.
On this occasion, the PMLQ Chief said that unfortunately there has been no opposition in the Parliament and claimed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is acting like a friendly opposition in the House.
He requested the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan to come to the House and fully play the role of an effective opposition.
Shujaat further said that he would not be aggrieved, had PMLQ lost the elections by means of fair voting, but his party was sidelined through rigging and use of unfair means.
