KARACHI: Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, President of Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) on Friday said that sports and culture have to be promoted for improving Pakistan-India (Pak-India) bilateral ties, ARY News reports from Karachi.
The statement was made during a lunch given by Indian actor Raza Murad.
Chaudhry Shujaat said that a friendly match between the two countries was played when he was the caretaker Prime Minister.
"Neighbors can never be changed and we have to keep good ties with them", Shujaat added.
On the occasion, Raza Murad said that sports and culture serve as a bridge improving the bilateral relations between the two countries. He added that the actor heard a lot of things about Chaudhry Shujaat back in India and was pleased to meet him.
The Indian actor, while further speaking, said that he was very happy to arrive in Pakistan and appreciated the hospitality of the Pakistani nation.
