SARGODHA: Peer of Sial Sharif Khawaja Hamiduddin Sialvi on Wednesday announced to end support for the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for not fulfilling the demand of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s resignation, ARY News reported.
In a press conference in Sial Sharif, Peer Hamiduddin maintained that he had demanded the resignation of Rana Sanaullah over the minister’s controversial statement which he did not tender till the given deadline so he and his followers will not support PML-N in the next general elections and the legislators associated with Sial Sharif Shrine will also tender their resignations.
“We announce resignations and will formally do so in the Dhobi Ghat (Faisalabad) rally on December 10,” Peer Sial Sharif’s son announced on his behalf.
Sialvi’s nephew and PML-N MPA Nizamuddin Sialvi has already submitted his resignation with him.

It is pertinent to note here that PML-N leader Zaeem Qadri had assured Pir Sialvi that Rana Sanaullah will come and offer explanation regarding his controversial statement and will resign in a November 28 meeting.
Pir Sialvi had asked Qadri to ask Rana Sanaullah to publicly explain his position, recite Kalma and step down as Punjab law minister.
A seven day sit-in by a religious party Tehreek Labbaik’s faction also ended on the condition that Rana Sanaullah will tender his resignation before Peer Sial Sharif as decided in the November 28 meeting.
