Sialkot: Indian forces open fire at Charwah Sector

SIALKOT: Indian forces opened unprovoked fire at Charwah Sector along Sialkot working boundary, ARY News reports on Friday.

According to security sources, Indian border forces opened fire at Charwah Sector. They also fired mortar shells during the cross border firing incident.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

The Indian guns were silenced by the retaliatory fire carried out by Chenab Rangers, sources said.

It should be noted that Charwah Sector is one of the most hostile border regions between Pakistan and India.

In another incident of the Indian cross border firing incident on August 11, 2014, two Pakistani civilians were killed.
