Ever since they made their on-screen debut together in Student Of The Year, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have been made out to be ‘more than friends’ by the media. Sidharth recently spoke to an Indian news agency regarding reports that he was about to marry Alia Bhatt.

Sidharth Malhotra rubbished the marriage rumours, stating that both him and Alia Bhatt were too young at the moment to even think about marrying.

“We have just started our careers. Abhi toh hum jawaan hai, abhi shaadi kahaan? (We are still young. Where does getting married feature in our lives right now?).”

Sidharth and Alia have always chosen to ignore or distance themselves from rumours that link them together to each other. Earlier, when Sidharth had been asked by an Indian news agency if him and Alia Bhatt were dating, the actor had responded with a witty reply:-

“I admit I ‘saw’ her during the shoot of my film Kapoor and Sons.” Alia Bhatt also stars in Kapoor and Sons, along with Sidharth and Pakistani hunk Fawad Khan.

Sidharth Malhotra also expanded on his youthful age and stated that he was just 30 years old, which was not that much in today’s world.

“I am just 30, and today, 30 is the new 20. I am not even thinking right now. I am not even ready. There is so much work to be done. I have a lot of growing up to do too. Eventually, definitely. I strongly believe in the whole family thing, but timing wise, it’s not happening anytime soon.”

Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra rose to prominence in the Indian film industry in a short span of time, as both made their debut with another acting powerhouse Varun Dhawan in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year.

So far, Sidharth and Alia Bhatt have stated that they are too young to marry but it should also be borne in mind that both haven’t denied reports of their linkup either!
