ISLAMABAD: Protesting members of Sikh community held a demonstration outside the Parliament House on Friday, ARY News reports.

Sikh protesters complained sacrilege of their holy book adding that their worship places in Karachi and other cities of Sindh being vandalized .

They were demanding assurance of the security of their gurdwaras from Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

The protesters staged a sit-in outside the parliament house in Islamabad and demanded arrest of the culprits involved in attacks on their worship places.

Angry protesters later breaking a gate managed to enter the premises of the Parliament House despite a heavy contingent of police being present at the place.

The officials were holding talks with representatives of protesters to disperse them.
