Sindh announce pillion riding ban

KARACHI: Sindh Government has decided to impose a ban on pillion riding from this midnight till 15th January ahead of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W) in five major cities of Sindh, ARY News reports on Friday.

According to a notification by Home Department of Sindh, pillion riding will be banned in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Larkana and Sukkur. The ban will be applicable from tonight.

All special permits for arms exhibitions have been cancelled as well.

A letter has also been sent to the Ministry for Interior for suspending cellular service on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal i.e. 14th January. It is suggested to suspend mobile service from morning till night on the occasion.
