Sindh Assembly demands action against banned groups

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly passed a resolution on Friday (today) condemning the life threat made to Patron-in-Chief Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and demanded strict action against outlawed groups in the country, ARY News reports.

Woman members of Sindh Assembly requested the Parliamentarians to pray for the long life of Bilawal Bhutto.

Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, speaker of the Sindh Assembly, said that strict action should be taken against the persons whom Bilawal had hinted in his twitter message.

In a message on social media website Twitter, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had tweeted that he received a life threatening message from Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. He had further said that threats were made to target him, PPP representatives and the law enforcing agencies.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said that Punjab government will be held responsible if anything happened to him.
