The death toll of children in Thar in the past one and half month has reached to 87 amid the provincial government’s tall claims about providing relief to the poor people of the desert region.
Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani has asked the provincial health department to look into the cause of deaths of children in the region.
He said that a parliamentary committee will be constituted soon over drought in Thar.
He urged the governmnet to look into the situation and to provide proper facilities to the people of Tharparkar district.
