Information Minister Sharjeel Memon while condemning Altaf’s statement, said the MQM chief has set a good example by issuing an apology. He said the prime minister and other political parties have appreciated the apology.
The members of opposition parties in Sindh Assembly protested in front of the Speaker’s seat for his refusal to table the resolution against Altaf Hussain. They later staged walkout from the house.
Talking to media the opposition members said that the Speaker disallowed the resolution to appease the government and MQM.
PML-F member Shaharyar Mahar said that the government and MQM running the house with mutual agreement.
