Sindh Assembly passes resolution against MQM workers killings
KARACHI: Sindh Assembly, in a session on Friday, unanimously passed a resolution against the extra judicial killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers, ARY News reports.
The session of the house was chaired by Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.
Faisal Sabzwari of MQM, while speaking at the floor of the house, said that the extra judicial killing of the party workers is condemnable.
Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan said that MQM is being punished for supporting the targeted operations in the metropolis.
MQM MPA Rauf Siddiqui urged that all criminals should be punished even it is from his party ranks whereas Syed Sardar Ahmed said that the party workers are being subjected to severe torture.
MPAs from MQM had attended the session by wearing black arm-bands.
