Sindh Assembly session adjourned over incomplete quorum

KARACHI: The session of the Sindh Assembly has been adjourned till Monday after only six members appeared in the house today, ARY News reports.

The members arrived for the session included Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, Deputy Speaker Dr. Shehla Raza, Nisar Khoro and Sikandar Mendhro.

Agha Siraj Durrani said that he is usually told that he does not arrive in session on time. "I am present in the session and waiting for the members", he added.

Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Faisal Sabzwari of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) said that the session of the assembly was unexpectedly adjourned. "MQM wanted answers of its missing party members from the provincial government", Sabzwari said.

Another member of MQM Syed Sardar Ahmed said that the speaker adjourned the session without giving anytime which is against the rules.
