Sindh Assembly session postponed in memory of Haji Altaf Unar
KARACHI: The session of the Sindh Assembly was postponed in the memory of Haji Altaf Unar whereas the leader of the opposition in the house Faisal Sabzwari raised the issue of extra judicial killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers and demanded an inquiry of the incidents, ARY News reports on Friday.
Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani presided over the session of the house. Faisal Sabzawari raised the issue of the extra judicial killing of the MQM workers. He added that five out of the forty five party workers were buried after being labeled as unidentified.
"Yawar Abbas was arrested by Rangers on 6th November and his body was found from the area of Nooriabad", Sabzwari added.
Faisal Sabzwari demanded that an inquiry of the extra judicial killings should be held .
A special prayer was held for the success of Pakistan against India in their World T20 encounter.
