Sindh CM chairs meeting on CPEC security

Shah was presiding over a meeting to discuss the $46 billion CPEC project Sindh Secretariat here.

The meeting was attended the provincial Chief Secretary, provincial advisor Murtaza Wahab, I.G. Police Sindh, home secretary and other top officials.

The chief minister said that the security of projects being build under the flagship China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is vital and the government is attending to its requirements.

Murad Ali Shah said that the project would put Pakistan on track to fast-paced progress.

He said a dedicated security division has been setup by the federal government for the purpose with 4500 personnel.
