KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company(SSGC) has issued a new schedule of CNG shutdown in Sindh, according to which CNG stations will remain close for continuous 41 hours, ARY News reported.
According to new schedule, the CNG shutdown will begin from Saturday (December 28) at 2:00 PM till Monday (December 30) 8:00 AM.
Spokesman of SSGC said that industries would not be allowed to consume gas on Sunday.
Chairman of CNG Association Shabbir Salmanji termed the step of closing CNG for continuous 41 hours as an inappropriate.
“It will create many problems for the public transport to carry on operation and ambulances will not be able to run without CNG”, he added.
