KARACHI: Sindh government has announced public holiday in the province for 11 Rabi Al Awwal (January 13) in the wake of birth anniversary of Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him), ARY New reported.
A notification has been issued by the department of general administration in this regard on January 11. According to the notice all the institutes, corporation, educational institute including schools and colleges governed by Sindh government will remain closed on Monday.
Institutions run by provincial government will now enjoy four consecutive holidays with the announcement following Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, federal government has announced the public holiday in the country on January 14 to o mark the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him).
