KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has decided to hold Local Body (LB) elections in the month of November, whilst the Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the concerned officials to complete all the electoral preparations in due time – ARY News reports.
According to details, CM Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah chaired a high-level meeting here on Saturday, which was attended by Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon, Murad Ali Shah and several others and the Sindh Government at last decided to hold the LB elections in the province in November, this year.
The Chief Minister advised the concerned officials to accomplish all preparations in this regard. He said that the Sindh Government has always respected the judicial verdicts and it will continue to do so in future.
Moreover, a committee comprising of Municipal Secretary and the Secretary Local Government has also been formed, which will present its report to the Chief Minister next week.
