Sindh LB Polls: PCP asks for 15 more days for printing ballot papers
KARACHI: Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP) has asked for 15 more days for the printing of ballot papers for the Local Bodies (LB) elections in Sindh – ARY News reports.
Sources told that the printing of 3 crore ballot papers till January 18 is impossible and prior to it verification of the nomination papers of LB candidates is also a stage yet to be covered, after which the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce a final date of holding the polls.
Meanwhile, the ECP has displayed the initial list of the LB candidates.
It was further told that objections regarding the list of LB candidates can be filed by December 31.
